Ingratebriton.org has been around for a number of years. We have toyed with handwritten xhtml pages and various CMS systems. We have tried Moveable Type, WordPress, Text Pattern, Drupal and we are now (Feb 2011) back with WordPress. They all have advantages, degrees of sophistication and installation issues but WP (ver 3+) is exactly what we currently need.
Unfortunately, we are lazy here and time poor, which means everytime we change CMS we can’t be bothered finding a way to import old posts. As we are currently virtually anonymous on the Web anyway this does not matter.
The Ingrates hope to remain politically expressive and sustain our slow motion revolution but this site may evolve further. We are not all couch potatos here and some of us have expertise and knowledge that we hope to have time to share. Other pages will eventually appear in the spirit of providing a useful global resource.
